Coin-op Connection
started as Huggerland in 1989, a small family owned
arcade. With it came Huggerland Vending which specialized in
the sale of arcade games retired from the Huggerland Arcade.
As the demand for arcade game sales to the home and business
markets increased and as the need for service to older machines
surfaced, Huggerland Vending became The Coin-op Connection Amusement
and Vending Company in 1993 and was operated out of a Basement.
In 1998 the need for a warehouse caused the move of in stock
games to a small storage space in Bridgewater. In 1999 when
the entire operation moved into warehouse space in Brockton,
the word "The" was removed from the name making us;
Coin-op Connection Amusement & Vending Co. Coin-op Connection
had its first open house
in Brockton in 2001. In order to serve our customers better,
we moved into a 4,000 square foot store front in Taunton Massachusetts,
in November 2005. After the move to Taunton, the word "Vending"
was removed from the Coin-op Connection name, giving us the
name we go by today; Coin-op Connection Amusement Company. On
Monday, November 7, 2005, we proudly dedicated the "Thomas
James Hefler Memorial West Wing Repair Center". Named for
the truly remarkable man, credited with being the founder and
driving force behind Coin-op Connection. Coin-op Connection
officially opened the Taunton office for business at 5:00pm
on
Tuesday, November 15, 2005. As more customers use Coin-op Connection
for their arcade needs and as more people join the Coin-op Connection
team, there's one thing that always has remained, we are large
enough to serve you with any and all of your arcade, pinball
and video game needs, but small enough to still care about what
has made us successful, our customers. Please feel free to contact
us for a showroom or service appointment, or visit us during
our open showroom hours.
